Family Nights
Children and parents gather to enjoy dinner and a variety of fun activities for kids including crafts and Danish language movies. Family nights are held on a regular basis.
Movie Nights and Movie Afternoons
A variety of Danish movies (most movies are only in Danish) are shown throughout the year. The same film is usually shown on the first Saturday afternoon and on the second Friday evening of the month.

Det Store Kolde Bord - January
A classic Danish feast of open faced sandwiches and many other good foods. A great time to enjoy Danish food and fellowship.

Fastelavn - February
A celebration for children of all ages--come in costume to help crown the Cat King and Queen.

Annual Meeting - February
A review of the Club's activities, election of officers, and an opportunity to discuss future activities.
Bingo and Pølsegilde - March
Join the fun with a buffet of pølser (wieners) and potato salad. Bingo is called in Danish and English and the prize baskets for winners usually feature Danish goods including cheeses and candies.
St. Hans Celebration - June
Help us celebrate Mid-Summer in Scandinavian style with a traditional picnic and bonfire. All ages are welcome.

Cod Party (Torskegilde) - October
A celebration with traditional Danish cuisine on the menu: Poached cod and mustard sauce.
Annual Danish Christmas Bazaar - Nov. 15, 2008 11am - 3pm
(Open to the public) A special event in the Washington, D.C. community, the Bazaar features Danish Christmas items, china and jewelry,
bakery and deli items, greenery, embroidery, and more. This is one of the largest and most popular Christmas Bazaars in the Washington area.

Christmas Party - Dec. 7, 2008
Danish Christmas Parties are held for adults and for children in traditional Danish atmosphere.
