I was born in Gentofte, Denmark and grew up in a small town outside of Koge.

Since 1993
What brought you to the US?
I came here upon graduating from gymnasiet as an Au Pair with a family in Georgetown. I then attended college in Lake Tahoe and stayed upon graduation.
What is your occupation?
Regional Property Manager
What do you like most about the Danish Club of Washington?
The new friends I have made, as well as a chance to speak the language and keep the Danish traditions alive and be able to share my herritage with my America husband.
How long have you been an officer of the club and what positions have you held?
This is my first year as an officer with the club. I have been handling memberships since August 2007.
What year did you join the club?
2007 - but I have been a member on a few previous occassions when I was living in the area.
What is your favorite event sponsored by the club and why?
Det Store Kolde Bord. I enjoy the food and the socializing.
What is your favorite Danish Food?
Any smorebrod and danish pastries.
